7 THINGS WE LEARNED FROM THE EPL LAST WEEK

7 THINGS WE LEARNED FROM THE EPL LAST WEEK

The EPL is always full of surprises. And last weekend was no different. Here are 7 things we learned from last week's games...

  1. Tom Heaton is a top goalkeeper who should be pushing for a starting shirt with the Three Lions of England.
  2. Judging by the recent goal scoring form and impressive goals-games ratio, we might have a 30 goal striker this season.
  3. Liverpool and Crystal Palace produced the most headed goals in a league game for a while. 4 goals.
  4. Chelsea recorded their 4th consecutive league win of the season, keeping a 4th straight clean sheet in the process.
  5. Tottenham and Manchester United are turning into draw specialists. The question now is between both Premier League clubs and Ogbono soup which draws more?
  6. Yannick Bolasie is a player who we might never be able to fairly judge based on talent. One moment he’s looking like a world class material, next move he’s trying to pull-off awkward skills you can’t comprehend.
  7. The ‘god of Manchester’ had 12 shots against Burnley; again he failed to score, stretching his barren spell to 2 months. Eric Cantona must be having a good laugh saying ’I told you England wasn’t France’.
